Defence & National Security

Sovereign intelligence for the decisions that don’t forgive mistakes.

For defence primes, MoDs, procurement agencies and authorized intelligence units.

Multi-source signals, adversarial networks, dual-use supply chains and export-control exposure — reasoned about in one place, deployed inside your perimeter, with an audit trail every board and inspector can follow.

The problem

Programmes span years and dozens of Tier-N suppliers, but supplier ownership shifts in weeks. Sanctions and export-control regimes move faster than the internal review cadence. Investigators still stitch evidence in slides. There is no consolidated, sovereign environment where all of this can be reasoned about together.

Data we integrate
  • 01Programme & supplier data (ERP, PLM, MES, contract management)
  • 02Sanctions & export-control lists — EU dual-use, US EAR/ITAR, national annexes
  • 03Company registries, beneficial ownership & sub-tier supplier data (global)
  • 04OSINT — multilingual news, gazettes, procurement notices, geospatial & maritime
  • 05Classified & controlled repositories (deployed inside customer perimeter)
  • 06Structured evidence — devices, IPs, IMEIs, vessel/aircraft identifiers, transactions
How we contextualize
  • Entity resolution on suppliers, beneficial owners, sanctioned entities and dual-use technologies.
  • Continuous re-screening: any change in list, ownership or media triggers a re-evaluation with full context.
  • Case reasoning that reconstructs actors, timelines and evidence chains — with citations for every claim.
  • Deployable in sovereign infrastructure with role-based access, immutable audit trail and HITL controls.
What's broken today

The structural problems we solve.

Problem 01

Capture intelligence on whiteboards

Competitive landscape, customer-country signals and stakeholder rotations live in capture leads' heads. When the lead changes, institutional context resets to zero.

Problem 02

Program risk surfaced after the milestone slips

Supplier financial deterioration, regulatory shifts and geopolitical events are visible months before they hit a milestone — but rarely routed to the program manager in time.

Problem 03

Sovereign requirements vs commercial AI

Most AI tools require data to flow into a US public cloud. For sensitive programs, that's a non-starter — and a reason teams default to spreadsheets.

What you get out

Reports, decks, Excel, dashboards and alerts — ready to ship.

Brief (PDF)

OSINT & threat brief

Analyst-grade PDF with cited multilingual sources, entity graph and confidence ratings.

Graph

Actor & network graph

Interactive graph reconstructing an actor, its network, and the evidence chain behind each edge.

Excel

Tier-N supplier exposure model

Structured Excel of sub-tier suppliers by risk, list hits, ownership overlap and export-control flags.

Audit log

Immutable case log

End-to-end log of every query, decision and export — inspectable by internal audit and regulators.

Alert

Re-screening alerts

‘Supplier X — new beneficial owner one hop from sanctioned entity. Suspend award.’

Deck

Programme board pack

Board-ready deck: programme exposure, incidents, mitigations, decisions taken and pending.

A concrete case

A Tier-4 supplier acquired overnight. Award frozen before contract signature.

A sub-component supplier changed ownership in a jurisdiction of concern between the technical evaluation and the contract award. Compass flagged the change within hours, reconstructed the new beneficial-owner chain, cross-referenced export-control regimes and produced a briefing pack. The award was frozen, an alternate qualified, and the programme protected from a post-facto sanctions incident.

Order of magnitude

What defence teams see in the first two quarters.

+20%
Win rate on competed programs

Capture teams arrive with continuously enriched context on every stakeholder and competitor.

3–6 mo
Earlier program-risk signal

Supplier and geopolitical indicators reach the PM before the milestone slips.

Sovereign
Deployment for sensitive workloads

EU-based or on-prem deployment, no data leaves your control.

100%
Auditable evidence trail

Every signal, source and recommendation is logged for compliance review.

How Compass operates

Your program operating rhythm.

  1. 01

    Capture radar

Every competitor announcement, customer-country signal and stakeholder rotation mapped to the programs it affects.

  2. 02

    Program risk monitor

Supplier health, regulatory and geopolitical indicators routed to program managers with a recommended mitigation play.

  3. 03

    Stakeholder transitions

Key official rotations briefed automatically — history, prior decisions, recommended next engagement.

  4. 04

    Bid/no-bid committee

Each opportunity arrives with a structured evidence pack: customer signals, competitive position, program economics, recommended posture.

Outcomes

What changes when you operate with Compass.

  • Higher win rates on competed programs
  • Earlier detection of program-level risk
  • Better coordination across capture, program and BD teams
  • Sovereign deployment for sensitive workloads
  • Continuity of institutional context across team rotations
  • Defensible, auditable recommendations end-to-end
Common questions

What defence leaders ask us first.

Can Compass be deployed in a sovereign environment?
Yes. Compass runs in EU-based or on-prem deployments for sensitive programs. No data leaves your jurisdiction or control.
How do you handle classified information?
Compass operates strictly on the data your environment permits. Classified content is processed only inside the cleared deployment, with role-based permissions and full audit logging.
Is it used by primes, suppliers, or program offices?
All three. Primes use it for capture and program risk; suppliers for opportunity and stakeholder visibility; program offices for end-to-end context across the supplier base.
Trust by design

Evidence, explainability, audit — built into every output.

Source-level evidence

Every signal, score and recommendation links back to the underlying record — the email, the filing, the transaction, the document — with the source visible at a click.

Explainable recommendations

No black-box outputs. Each priority states why it was promoted, which signals contributed, which were declassed, and which model version produced it.

Audit trail by default

Signals, model versions, reviewers and actions are logged and reconstructable later — ready for internal control, regulators and your own governance.

Human-in-the-loop

Compass recommends. Authorized people decide. Every consequential action requires a named reviewer who can confirm, override or annotate the reasoning.
